New Rip and Tip Machine at Clopton

RipTip2

Rip and Tip machine in action

The laboursave machine was installed in July 2017. The machine automatically picks up the 25 kilo sacks and runs them over spinning blades and a hopper to empty them into the elevator, which feeds the tanker. It then returns back to the pallet of bags, dropping the empty sacks into a holding bin before collecting the next run of full bags, repeating the process until the tanker is fully loaded.

This operation used to be done manually and would require at least 4 men, the operation now only requires one man, thus saving a lot of labour costs.

Suffolk Show 2017

This year’s Suffolk Show was Debach Managing Director Bee Kemball’s first show as Honorary Show Director.

The event was a great success as the diverse lineup of stands and activities coupled with perfect weather conditions drew the crowds to Trinity Park in Ipswich. It was so successful that the overflow car park was opened for the first time in 12 years!

As part of her duties at this year’s show Bee presented to the winners of the Shetland Pony Grand National. Amongst the parents watching the competitors were famous champion jockey’s Bob Champion and Frankie Dettori.
